Our classes are warm, structured, and welcoming— held in the cozy setting of our home, creating an intimate and comfortable environment where families can relax, connect, and truly be present. It’s music in a space that feels personal, calm, and community-centered. We are conveniently located on Eglinton West, just a couple minutes walk from Caledonia LRT station.
These sessions are designed not only for children to grow but for families to experience music together.

We are proud to offer separate English and Brazilian Portuguese classes. Each group is taught entirely in one language — families choose the class that best fits them. These are not bilingual sessions; they are intentionally designed language-specific experiences to create depth, clarity, and cultural richness.
We are building more than classes. We are building a musical community!
Growing Beats classes are small, intentional, and highly interactive. They are available in English or Brazilian Portuguese and are focused on rhythm development, language building, movement exploration, and early musical skills.
Each 45-minute session includes:
Our Brazilian Portuguese classes are designed especially for brasileirinhos to connect with Brazilian culture through music; or anyone who wants to learn about Brazilian culture.

These classes create a joyful cultural bridge — strengthening language, identity, and heritage through music.
An adult is required to stay during the entire class. This is not a drop-off program. The experience is designed for connection between child and caregiver — whether that is a parent, grandparent, relative, a family friend or nanny.
Each registered child may bring up to two grown-ups to participate in class.

Growing Beats classes are led by Zeca Polina, a musician and early childhood music specialist with over a decade of experience working with young children and families. Zeca has made a positive impact on more than 1,500 children, youth, and their families.
Zeca previously taught for over 7 years at a renowned early childhood music school, where he led developmentally-informed classes for babies and toddlers.
For over 10 years, he brought music to children with disabilities at Holland Bloorview, one of North America's largest pediatric rehabilitation hospitals, using music as a tool for communication, inclusion, joy, and connection.
As a father himself, Zeca understands how powerful shared musical experiences can be in the early years. His classes are energetic, sensitive, inclusive, engaging, and rooted in respect for every child’s individuality.

Yes. Brazilian Portuguese baby music classes are available alongside English sessions.
Classes are on the ground floor. There is a small 3-inch step, so families using wheelchairs or mobility aids are encouraged to contact us in advance.
For safety and space, strollers can be left on the covered front porch during class.
